Introducing the DigiCue

We have been asked by many people to create a video explaining exactly what the DigiCue is and how it works. Well here it is! Big shout out to Andrew Cleary for making it and also to Annie Flores for starring in it! Great job to you both!

    Great Training Tool
This is a great training tool providing instant feedback. I find myself trying to not get the tool to vibrate which in turn makes me stroke my cue much better. This is such a great tool that as soon as the new Bluetooth one was released I ordered that one.

  2. Aaron Shaw (verified owner)

    Great training aid
This is an Awesome product. Even though I have now moved on to the digi-cue blue.

  3. Jacob Avii (verified owner)

    Great training aid
A friend of mine had this and let me play with it a few rounds. I love how accurate this product is,it has def been helping my stroke and unnecessary movements. I had to give it back to him but i do plan on purchasing one coming up

  4. Ennis (verified owner)

    It works
This product does exactly what it says it does. I have seen several players try mine thinking that they have a perfect stroke only to find out that they have a few flaws.

Not something a pool player absolutely needs
I bought the product and used it for a while. I thought it was neat and interesting, but I did not feel it was an absolute must have to enhance your game. I don’t feel it takes the place of studying and regular practice to improve your game. The product will vibrate if you do anything other than hit the ball soft. Sometimes it is necessary to cue harder, or even throw the cue a certain way to execute a shot and position. It does not seem like the product accounts for all variables.

    A quality product
The digi cue does what it says it will do. It will let you know your stroke isn’t perfect, but it won’t tell you what you’re doing wrong. I’d pay the extra for the Digi Cue Blue, which I now own and love. This was great when it first came out, but without the bluetooth link it is over shadowed by the newer version. I also had the best costumer service with OB cues when I purchased this product.

Good, but the Blue Version is Better
This original version of DigiCue was useful but frustrating. You would know there was a defect in your stroke but you wouldn’t know what the problem was. It’s well worth it to spend the extra money for the new, Blue version.

    Creates a very smooth stroke!
The conditioning that this provides a player for making sure they have a smooth stroke is fantastic! I make this available to my students, and have used it myself many times. Highly recommended!

    Ok training aid
The Digicue attaches to your cue easily and does provide feedback if your stroke isn’t perfect; however, the only feedback it provides is a generic buzz, so you only know you did something wrong, just not what it was. As such, the Digicue blue is a much superior product.

  10. Rob Valim (verified owner)

    Not impressed
It would have been nice to have this in the Bluetooth version, which makes no sens as to why they didn’t design it that way from the start. I will not spend more money after what I feel is a waste of money already spent on the first version

  11. Guy Long (verified owner)

    Great training aid.
It attaches to your cue very easily. It helped me get a smoother and straighter stroke. It took awhile but it did work. I bought one for me and liked it so much, that I let a couple of players use it and they ended up buying one also. I plan on trying the Digi Cue Blue next.

  12. Will (verified owner)

    Pretty cool product
Awesome product. Will make you want to throw your cue away at times but definitely helps with your stroke and cueing. The different difficulties really help you adjust your stroke slowly. Chuck it on doing your drills over a month or two and will really help your consistency with the game. Have not used the Blue version but i assume it’d be much better feedback.

  13. Derek (verified owner)

Works great if you also record while you use it
This product is good for good players or if you’re a mediocre player like me it works well if you also record yourself so you can figure out how to fix you flaws.

  14. Tony (verified owner)

    It slowed my shot
When I say slowed I mean it made me keep from jumping up after my shots. Helped me slow the shot down a bit and stay down on the ball better. I’m writing this review after the blue has come out and obviously ob listened and developed the blue version so you can track yourself. I haven’t gotten the blue yet but hope to soon

  15. Rob (verified owner)

    Good idea…
I’m not to impressed with this version, I wish I would have waited for the Bluetooth version. I don’t know if I will invest in the BT version now after my disappointment with this one.

  16. Paul Geis (verified owner)

    Works ok
I bought this before the digi cue blue was out it was ok but the blue is definitely worth the extra cash

  17. Jonathan (verified owner)

Good idea, but slight movement on shot is actually okay
I received the DigiCue as a present (which I had asked for), and it is a neat device. It does not tell you WHAT went “wrong” on the shot/stroke, though, which is a drawback that is hopefully fixed with the BLUE version (that uses an app on the phone). I showed the device to my instructor, who gave me an interesting take on it: He says that on most shots, your brain makes small corrections as you are stroking the shot, and so a slight movement of the cue during the stroke is normal and should not be discouraged. As a result (I have worked with him for many years), I rarely use the DIGICue any more, though it is still on the end of my cue.

    Corrects and Improves Your Stroke
Probably the most fundamental lesson to learn in playing pool is developing a straight and smooth stoke. I knew I needed improvement in stoking, especially after taking lessons from a top pro. I could not improve my stoke until I began using the Digicue. With the feedback I received from the Digicue, I made adjustments quickly to my stoke. From time to time I, practice with my Digicue to make sure I have not fallen into my old bad habits. I have only one piece of advice, make sure the Digicue is installed properly to get accurate results. As an investment in training aids, it’s one of the most effective I have purchased. I hightly recommend Digicue!

  19. Jack (verified owner)

    Good training aid
As a league player who doesnt put as much time into practicing asbhe should, i use the digicuenas often as i can when i feel my line is off. Havent been able to advance to its highest setting, yet. But i do fairly well on the middle setting. It helps me to refine my game by keeping me in proper stance and stroke

  20. Mike Miller (verified owner)

    Instant feedback
Great tool for keeping you focused on a good stroke while you practice. Hard to tell sometimes what went wrong, especially with English shots. Just gotta try different things until you get the stroke right.

    Liked until housing cracked
I liked for a couple months. Then the plastic housing sounded lose like it had cracked. Trying to get that out of the rubber housing it separated worse. _x000D_
Since I’m local to Dallas I brought to OB, but they said plastic housing isn’t warrantied. They also said I likely cracked it. I informed them I don’t abuse my cues. _x000D_
And so it was poor customer service on their part for a new item I think they’re trying to promote.

  22. Brandon Basile (verified owner)

    Nice training tool
Very simple to use and I had some of the better shots I know try it out – none of them could do the advanced level without making it vibrate. More detail would have been nice – which is why they came out with the digicue

  23. Karla Cox (verified owner)

Digi cue is the way to go
Very good training tool to keep your stroke nice and smooth. If you ever get a chance to try the digi cue I suggest you do so. I promise you will be surprised on how steady your stroke is.

  24. Sam N. (verified owner)

Great addition to any training regime
This absolutely worked for me in correcting my stoke and was a great addition to my training regime – coach and drills. It corrected my stoke, and improved my accuracy… would definitely recommend!!!!

  25. S Spronk (verified owner)

    Could be better
In using this I would get vibration at times but I didn’t know what I was doing wrong so it wasn’t that helpful. I found some drills that it really helped with but overall I was not that impressed. I wish the Bluetooth model was out when I got mine.

    Best tool ever for pool
I had the 1st.digicue. it worked real good once I found out what each vibrate meant. Then I got the didicue blue with the down load. I’m shooting real great now. Straight, Smooth strokes Can’t miss 99% of my shots. Great tool for any pool players that want to get better. (You guys keep up the great work).

Great product but buy the DigiCue instead
Great product but hard to tell exactly where the fault in the stoke was. DigiCue Blue will provide much better feedback and track your history.
DigiCue Blue is a must have!
