The Phoenix shaft is Torrefied AA Grade Maple. This shaft has a stiff, solid hit with a great tone in the hit. It has quickly become one of our most popular shafts due to the comfort of the modified taper and the consistency of the hit. For those who are just not ready to make the switch to carbon fiber shafts, this shaft is usually the choice they make.

This is a great shaft. Perfect for players who spin the ball. Very nice solid hit and very reliable.

  2. Larry M.

I have this on my Nick Varner championship series cue. Plays like a dream. I also have the OB Curly on 2 of my McDermott cues. I love the feel and playability of these shafts. I prefer them over the G cores that came with both McDermott. If you’re thinking of purchasing either one l, they are great shafts.
