New Partnership
Between Professional Pool Player John Schmidt and OB Cues
OB Cues, Manufacturer of
the OB-1 Cue Shaft, is pleased
to announce their partnership and official sponsoring of professional
pool
player John Schmidt. OB Cues is honored
to be working with John “Mr. 400” Schmidt, the 2006 U.S. Open
Champion.
“We have a great appreciation for his ability and dedication to men’s
pool,”
says Royce Bunnell, co-owner of OB Cues.
John Schmidt has won numerous tournaments, including such events as the
Reno
Open, Viking Tour, SE Open Tour and Florida Tour. In
2006, John won the coveted U.S. Open
Championship and has a high run of 400 in straight pool.
John says from his home in Florida, “I’m very
excited to be working with the people at OB Cues, they have the same
dedication
and drive as I do, plus the OB-1 Cue Shaft is by far the best product I
have
ever played with.” John capped the 2006
year with a spot on the Mosconi Cup USA Team, where Team USA
won the prestigious event in Holland
in early December.
